He is responsible for client management and consulting services for Steilberg & Associates, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in key talent assessment and development initiatives. With over 15 years of experience working to define and deliver the full potential of people at work, Chris has been engaged by both global Fortune 500 organizations and startup entrepreneurial firms. He knows what really works -- and how to deliver it to create rapid value and sustainable results.
Throughout his career, Chris has consulted to numerous organizations at virtually every stage of growth and size. His expertise and reputation for multi-national solutions has been engaged by global clients including BellSouth Corporation, The Coca-Cola Company, Burger King Corporation, MCI Telecommunications and Ryder Systems. In addition, he has partnered with smaller organizations to deliver the right solution at the right time where the impact of critical talent decisions is immediate.
Much of Chris’ time is spent working with organizations to design and deliver the strategy and execution of Talent Management Solutions such as performance management and succession planning. He is an expert assessor and developer of individual potential and organization effectiveness, having assessed and coached thousands of individuals from non-exempt to C-level status. He is also accomplished in system-wide solutions including high volume recruitment and selection, leadership development programs, training design and delivery, culture transformation and organization change.
Chris earned his B. A. from The University of the South and his Ph.D. in organization psychology from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He has lectured at Spelman College, The Georgia Institute of Technology, and The University of Miami and his accomplishments in organizations have been published in leading refereed journals including The Academy of Management Journal.
Chris is married with two children. He serves on several non-profit boards including the South Florida Progress Foundation and is a member of the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychologists and the American Psychological Association. Away from the office, Chris is a ‘soccer dad’, practicing and preserving what remains of his skills in basketball and baseball with his children. He also enjoys cooking (It’s better than cleaning).
